Initiated on November 1, 2022, this project reached a significant milestone as it was officially unveiled to our Primary students on the first day of Term 1 in 2024. A testament to our commitment to continuous improvement, the Primary Playground Upgrade is a pivotal achievement within our College Master Plan.

Our approach to designing the Primary Playground was guided by core principles that prioritise promoting local context, innovative play, alignment with College Academy sporting pursuits, fine motor skill development, and cultivating curiosity among our students, both individually and in groups.

This holistic perspective underscores our dedication to providing a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.

Immersed in the inspiration of local coastal landscapes, the Primary Playground offers a dynamic environment that beckons students to engage in a variety of formal and informal activities.

Through this experiential play, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Australian ecological systems. The playground serves as a canvas where imagination takes flight, enriching the educational journey for our young learners.

This collaboration has played a crucial role in bringing our vision to life, demonstrating the impact of partnerships in advancing educational infrastructure.

Additionally, a significant portion of the funding for the Primary Playground Upgrade was provided by Coomera Anglican College. This financial commitment reflects our College's dedication to creating an environment that goes beyond the conventional, fostering holistic growth and development for our students.

The Primary Playground stands as a testament to our collective pursuit of excellence, symbolising the collaborative efforts of our community in elevating the overall educational experience at Coomera Anglican College.
