New Secondary Building
Embarking on the next phase of our College's Master Plan, Stage 2 commenced on April 11, 2023, bringing forth a transformative chapter that encompasses:
A future-focused, four-story facility tailored to house our 21st-century innovation and initiatives. This bespoke building aims to enhance our students' global perspective, fostering essential learner attributes.
Â
Key Features of the New Seondary Building:
- The Hub (Secondary Library) relocation
- Departments: History, Chinese, Creative Industries, ICT, Design, Film and television
- Incubator and entrepreneurial spaces
- Canteen and Café
- Adaptable learning spaces
- 400-seat amphitheatre space
Â
In addition the Master Plan Stage 2 includes:Â
- New art studios and the relocation of Secondary Art: Enhancing the creative environment to inspire artistic pursuits.
- New hardcourts: A fresh addition to our sports facilities, providing versatile spaces for physical activities.
- Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) redevelopment: A comprehensive initiative to enhance our care facilities for students beyond regular school hours.
Each of these projects is a crucial component in the development of our College Master Plan, elevating the educational experience for our Junior and Senior Secondary students.
This ambitious endeavor is made possible through the generous support of the Queensland State Government, particularly through the Queensland Independent Schools Block Grant Authority, which contributes specifically to the stormwater elements of the project.Â
The primary funding, however, stems from Coomera Anglican College's commitment to advancing our institution and providing a state-of-the-art learning environment for our students.
