Coomera Anglican College Year 12 student, Connor Hopgood has made a remarkable achievement, following a recent Athletics competition that now ranks him Number 1 in the world for the Hammer throw.
In late March 2025, Connor competed in a crucial lead-up event to the Australian championships and delivered an astounding Hammer throw of 73.67 meters. This throw has not only secured him the top position in Australia’s Under-18 age group but has also reached a world ranking of Number 1.
