Caitlin's athletic journey began at school, where she excelled in cross-country, winning multiple championships at the Australian and Queensland levels. She also achieved notable accomplishments in track events, such as placing second at the Australian Junior Championships in the 3000m steeplechase and winning the 2000m steeplechase at the Australian all Schools Competition. Her exceptional performances earned her a nomination for the Logan City Young Sportswoman of the Year.
Caitlin's success in 2022 is a testament to her coaching expertise and her own athletic achievements. She emerged as the winner in the Queensland State Short Course XC Champs Open Women category and the Queensland State 10,000m Track Open Women category. She also secured silver medals in the Queensland State Open 3000m and 1500m events. In addition, Caitlin achieved notable placements in various national and international competitions, including the New Zealand National XC Champs Senior Women (4th place), Australian National XC Champs Open Women (11th place), Run4Reef Race2Zero Elite 10km (winner), and QLD 1500m Classic (5th place).
In addition to her extensive experience as an athlete, Caitlin holds several coaching accreditations from Athletics Australia (AA), including Level 2 Coach, Level 1 Coach, Kids Athletics Coach, Athletics Coach Silver Certification, and Athletics Coach Bronze Certification. Her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement is evident in her coaching approach.
