While the majority of our students aspire to enter University, great careers don’t always begin at University level. In the senior years of schooling students are able to undertake a variety of pathways, depending on their career aspirations. The flexibility in the curriculum caters for the individual, allowing students to undertake outside learning opportunities whilst still at school if so desired. This can be integrated into a simultaneous work placement, traineeship or apprenticeship.
The College staff actively support the individual needs of every child to ensure they are well prepared for their future. A very high percentage of students obtain first round offers to tertiary institutions and our graduates are often accepted into high level courses which require exceptional folios or auditions.
The College recognises that students must be prepared for a future in a technological work environment with an increasing degree of career mobility. In order to aid this development, we believe it is essential to promote a secure and friendly learning environment where students are encouraged to maximise their potential. Students are supported as they explore different pathways and their achievements are celebrated. This results in students achieving strong academic results and possessing the ability and confidence to operate in a rapidly changing global environment.
